chocolate chip pancakes
Starting off your day with a wholesome and nutritious meal will keep you satisfied throughout the morning crunch. Here is a delicious recipe for fluffly pancakes packed with protein with some of our dairy chocolate chips to give it a flavourful kick. Pair these pancakes with a banana and a spoonful of your favorite nut butter, and you’ve got a complete and hearty breakfast.
Tip: Save time in the morning by preparing the batter the night before.
6 oz Greek yogurt
1/4- 1/2 cup protein powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp oil
3/4 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp maple syrup (optional)
1/4 cup chia seeds (optional)
1/2 cup Bakers Choice dairy choc. chips
▪ Blend together all ingredients except for the chocolate chips with an immersion blender.
▪ If the batter is too runny, add some protein powder to thicken it.
▪ Add the choc. chips and mix well by hand.
▪Heat oil in a pan and add batter, flip when bottom is golden.
Top with confection sugar or drizzle with our caramel or chocolate caramel shpritz
